This electric composter operates using a carefully designed three-stage process. First, it dehydrates organic waste during the drying stage – at a precisely controlled high temperature of 130 °C, which simultaneously eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and other unwanted microorganisms. This is followed by the grinding stage, when the dried material is ground into a fine substrate using a stainless steel blade and mixing shaft. The final step is cooling, after which the finished product is ready for safe use.

The original volume of organic waste is reduced by up to 93% in the Salente EcoBoost electric composter. A full waste bin is reduced to just a handful of valuable substrate that would otherwise end up in an incinerator or landfill. The result of the entire process is a dry and incredibly lightweight compost material that you can use as a nutritious natural fertiliser for indoor plants, balcony flowers or garden beds. This electric composter offers 3 carefully designed programmes, making it dependable in any situation.

• The automatic programme processes your organic waste into a dry compost substrate with the ideal consistency in 4 to 5 hours. This programme delivers the best composting results and is the clear choice when, for example, you have time to leave the appliance running overnight or during the working day.
• You will appreciate the quick programme when time is of the essence. In this mode, the organic waste composting process takes just 1.5 to 3 hours – in such a short time it produces a substrate that is slightly more moist, but still perfectly suitable for fertilising plants.
• The odour removal programme runs for a full 8 hours and uses only the fan. This mode is ideal when organic waste accumulates more slowly in your home (for example, over several days before composting) and you want to avoid unpleasant odours in the kitchen – this programme tackles odours while keeping organic materials in a condition that does not attract nuisance insects such as fruit flies.

A responsible approach to the environment without the effort

The vision behind Salente EcoBoost is to make composting as easy and worry-free as possible. Maintaining the composter is therefore effortless. As a bonus alongside the three main programmes, an automatic cleaning function thoroughly cleans the container, shaft and blade in 35 minutes. The 3.8-litre container also features a folding handle and is removable, so you can simply take it out, clean it and put it back at any time. The bottom wastewater outlet then allows you to drain condensate conveniently straight into a sink or bowl.
