The Salente Story

We are Mr. and Mrs. Petrlik, and as we recently reflected on where our passion for combining technology and gastronomy has taken us over the past few wonderful years, we feel a special warm feeling. A feeling that we have been able to make a difference in many people's daily lives through the products we have brought to life. When we look back in history, there has always been a desire to find ways to improve the lives of those around us. We've tried to do that in the server and technology-focused business that we came from... But one day, there came a moment when we decided it was time to pursue what our hearts really beat for. And that is gastronomy and practicality in everyday life.

Inspired by Italy: The Birth of an Idea

Our eyes were opened by a trip to Italy, to a region called Salento. This beautiful region is known for its authenticity, rich culture and exceptional gastronomy. In the local narrow streets of the historic towns, amongst the vineyards and olive groves, we found inspiration for something new - a brand that would bring comfort and style to every home with its high-tech products and innovative approach. A brand proudly Czech, but inspired by Italy.

Birth of Salente

As we mentioned, Salente is a tribute to the magical Salento, whose visit influenced us so much. We made it a point to make the most of our technological expertise and combine this with our gastronomic passion and elegant design. We wanted to create products that would bring utility, comfort and well-being to everyday life. We believe that this is the only way to make every day lighter and every moment more precious.
