This electric composter works on a sophisticated three-phase principle. First, the organic waste is dehydrated during the drying phase - at a precisely controlled high temperature of 130 °C, which simultaneously destroys 99.9% of bacteria and other unwanted microorganisms. This is followed by the grinding phase, when the dried material is ground into a fine substrate using a stainless-steel knife and mixing shaft. And the final step is cooling, after which the resulting product is ready for safe use.

The original volume of biowaste is reduced by up to 93% in the Salente EcoBoost electric composter. This means that only a handful of valuable substrate remains from a full waste bin, which would otherwise end up in an incinerator or landfill. The result of the whole process is a dry and incredibly light compost material that you can use as a nutritious natural fertilizer for houseplants, balcony flowers or garden beds. • The automatic program processes your biowaste into a dry compost substrate with an optimal consistency in 4 to 5 hours. This program achieves the best composting results and is the clear choice for you if you have time to let the device work overnight or during the working day.
• You will appreciate the fast program when time is running out. In this case, the composting process of biowaste takes only 1.5 to 3 hours - in such a short time, the substrate is created, which is slightly wetter, but still completely functional for fertilizing plants.
• The odour removal program runs for a full 8 hours and uses only the fan. This mode is ideal for situations where your organic waste at home accumulates more slowly (for example, a few days before composting) and you want to avoid unpleasant odours in the kitchen - this program eliminates odours while keeping organic ingredients in a state that does not attract troublesome insects, such as fruit flies.

The double extra robust stainless steel chopping knife with a material thickness of 4 mm is designed to cope with even more demanding raw materials, such as eggshells or harder vegetable scraps. And together with it, there is a robust four-arm mixing shaft with a non-stick surface - this combination ensures perfect processing of organic waste, while preventing its pieces from being trapped in the bowels of the system.

Odours have no chance

An indispensable part of the electric composter is an activated carbon anti-odour filter (with a lifespan of 300 hours of operation), which protects your kitchen from any unpleasant odours. The filtration system also includes an additional washable foam pre-filter, which acts as a first defensive line and extends the life of the main carbon filter.

When it is time to replace the filter, the composter will automatically notify you.

What you can compost at home

The Salente EcoBoost electric composter ecologically processes a wide range of types of biowaste. You can fill it with various fruit and vegetable scraps (from apple peels to peeled carrots), herbs, spices, cooked side dishes (rice, pasta, potatoes, etc.), as well as leaves, stems and flowers from indoor or balcony plants. It can also easily handle old baked goods - whether it is stale bread or rolls, or cakes without too much sugar. And to top it off, it can also compost coffee grounds, tea bags (those without plastic parts), and even eggshells (which are then an excellent source of calcium for plants in the compost), ashes from burnt wood or nut shells (except for extremely hard ones like coconut or walnuts).
